Testing a power transformer before it travels north

A power transformer bound for a remote Uttarakhand valley or a J&K substation is costly to return. That is why the test programme is agreed before manufacture.

• Lightning impulse type test, on request
• Tank air pressure test
• Temperature rise type test, on request

Practice is NABL-aligned, and owners, consultants or third-party inspectors can witness tests.

Approvals and certificates

ISO 9001:2015, BIS, BEE star labelling and IS 1180 EEL grades for distribution units, plus approvals or test records with Lloyds-UK, RITES, CPRI, ERDA and the National Test House, Ghaziabad.
